Hi,
I rental a whole unit and recently handover the unit back to owner and we did the aircond service.
However, owner insist we must do chemical wash (which he says about 400-500 for 3 units). The chemical wash and general service we did is not sufficient.
Is this common or what can i do about this? Appreciate everyone's advices.
Thanks and happy new year.

Does your rental agreement stipulate that the required A/C maintenance must include a chemical wash?
Does it have any other wording suggesting any criteria about the A/C servicing done?
Unless there is a high amount of dust in the air or if there is mould growing, a chemical wash is usually unnecessary & a waste of money, especially if you have kept the filter screen clean.
By the way, you should be able to find this topic on hardwarezοne.

Maybe you can try 81 Aircon. Have actually tried their service before. Their servicing i think is around $30? They have package also.
