Hi all,
Can you advise my odds of successful PR application?
Exactly one year since my application date and so far the status is still pending.
Thanks.
Below are my info:

Country of origin: Hong Kong
Education: Degree
Marriage status: married, spouse being a Singapore citizen
Job: Insurance (Actuarial), EP holder
Monthly salary: S$9k (myself) / S$4.5k (spouse)
Application Date: 26-May-15
Relocated to SG with my wife and take up my current role since end of Jun-15

Application was submitted in May-2015 while we were still in HK, and today is exactly one year since the application date.
Then we relocated to SG and I started to work here since end of Jun-2015.

Maybe they thinking not much "permanence" shown at the minute so they taking their time.
What's the rush?
Life is short, paddle harder!!

Agree that no particular rush, just for the 2 reasons below.
1. Current lease will end at Jun-2017, so want to buy a resale HDB and move into it before the lease expires.
2. Getting a PR will allow for more flexibility in career options.

Well since you're married to a Singaporean, i suppose you can try LTVP+? no need of those working passes with mountain of requirements, levies, and quotas

Your household can already do that per the Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme.
