I am 38, F, single and relocated to and have been in Singapore for 1.5 years. Have gone on the meet-up scene for a while but found the company to be a bit too young for my age. Hence, am trying other outlets.
If you are, like me, enthusiastic about food (good authentic food), the theaters or movies, the occasional visit to a great pub or would just like to goof for no good reason over a cuppa, do reply to this post.
Along the way, I hope to expand my social circle.

My kind of movies are.. Woody Allen, Tim Burton, and those minority taste indie films.. that sort of thing but I am open to any other types of movies except for horror movies.

Hello,
I'm Joanna, originally from Montreal, but living in Calgary since 2005.
I just arrived last friday, for what looks like a long-term job teaching at NUS.
I'm here alone for the moment (at least until my bf comes to visit in february), and the jetlag is going away finally, so I'm ready to get out there and make friends in my new country.
A bit about me: super outgoing, wildlife biologist (but still a girly girl), very into dance and music, and taking photos is a growing hobby. I like going out for dinner, lunch, whatever and I'm eager to explore Singapore.

I'm 41F and have been here just over two years. Work has kept me very busy so I'm now trying to get a better work/life balance! Would love to get out and meet new people.
I love good food, a glass of vino or two, cinema and travel. I also play tennis (for fun) if anybody is interested.

Hallo ladies....this is an open invitation...I am in Singapore for business from Friday 01 Feb until Mon 04 Feb.
I never like eating or drinking alone. I am 49, white caucasion, from South Africa. Managing Director of my two companies.
I really dont know the best places for a peaceful drink after work or a nice dinner in the evening. If you have any suggestions I'll be paying the bills.
