Hi friends,
I've got my PR 6 years ago, just renewed last year valid till 2016. My salary is only $3K+. My wife and son are in Singapore under LTVP since 07/2010, also just renewed their LTVP in 07/2011 valid till 07/2012. Unfortunately my son was born in my wife's howetown, not in Singapore due to high cost.
My wife owns a business overseas hence during last 2 years she and our child travel between Singapore and her hometown quite frequently, is it a BIG minus point for their PR applications? Should I apply PR for them now or wait until she can station in Singapore longer?
And having a child is minus or plus point? Should I apply them separately or together?

Appreciate your advices. TIA,
Travel to home town frequently eh? My guess is that your family holds Malaysian citizenship, right?
You mentioned that you have a son, which is a plus point (for NS reason obviously). My personal suggestion is to apply together. _________________ scratched by the lynx
I am a singaporean n earning 4k++ in Singapore. Just got married 2 yrs back in India n brought my wife here. have a 1yr old kid(Automatically a singaporean) n my wife's PR is still being rejected. Been rejected for more than 8times already. She has done her PHD before marriage n is under LTV pass here.No reasons being given for the rejections. Wheras i have a friend who is earning around 3k n got married to a chinese from China who had only completed her 3rd standard, his wife got the PR on the 1st try.

This is quite common. Continue on LTSVP for wifey. Some may take 5 year before PR approve _________________ The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.Yahoo !!!
Eight applications in two years?!?
You beat even me for stubbornness!!!
But unfortunately re-applying without new information or change of status is not just a waste of time, but will count in your disfavour in Singapore government eyes.
