Now, after it shows the little "Welcome" with the vista background, it thens shows a black screen, with a popup that says."Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation." Does this mean I need to install windows all over again? What do I do? I need help, ASAP. I need this computer to do homework on. NB: I am a spammer and can't you see I dredged up a 6 year old thread! _________________ Indian spammer's link deleted by moderator!

If you have a dos command promt, try looking for the D drive, Operating System HP recovery files, or use the hp recovery disk _________________ http://www.drinkingvinegar.com

He cannot seem to understand that the post was made by a spammer, even with a statement in the post from the moderators. Maybe he's a spammer as well just trying to keep his signature popping up - seem like it as I've had a go-around with him already about his signature. Answering a post that a moderator has already pointed out is a spammers post, makes his post look the same. Should I lock his account for "jumping on the bandwagon"? just posting for link exposure? moderator _________________ . Helpful Links for Expats in Singapore .
