1. The consultant has contacts or counterparts in Singapore
2. The consultant will get paid by the employer if he could successfully identify the right employee
3. On top of this the consultant is trying to take money from the employee side as well - For introducing the employer!
am I correct steve_kilo? The consultant may be genuine or may be not. I think if you process thro any of these consultants in India - I bet they will definitely charge you. Do you think that you can find some consultant who is working for "free". C'mon, stop kidding.
@Mi Amigo - Infact this consultant is steve_kilo's(and many others') only contact who has contacts(hopefully) in singapore.
@steve_kilo: As others said, try to apply directly to the employer. See the job offers in their own websites and your mo.com site etc. No employer wants to miss true skills. Goodluck.

Hence my suggestion that he use his contacts to find other contacts, etc. etc. He's not in North Korea for heaven's sake - with the internet the possibilities for networking are endless. My philosophy is to try to help as many people as I can, (a) because it's a good thing to do, and (b) because people will want to help you in return if asked. By following a similar approach (and avoiding BS at all costs), I'm sure the OP will be able to progress in his career, whether in Singapore or elsewhere. _________________ Yes I have no Masters
