Kalyn: I had the same experience. Went to one of the blue-eyed boys of PS in Singapore. Paid top dollar and he knew I was afraid of surgery and therefore recommended fillers. (In order not to miss my biz?) It gave me the additional eye bag too. But again I am not trying to blame any docs. Perhaps I shld hv educated myself more and take time to consider instead of agreeing on the spot for a 'solution' which I thot was fast and easy.
VERY IMPORTANT: you must wait for the fillers effect to go before going for surgery. Some docs may think they are capable of removing all fillers but dun think it is safe to take this risk on a delicate area. I waited 1 year to get it corrected surgically.
I had 2 types of fillers done before. Restylane and something else - I forgot. Sori.
I wld not go to Dr. Kim of BK. There are a number of bad reviews esp. on his after care.
On total removal of eye bags - I think it has to do with the seriousness of each case. Cos he told me the same thing but the results is much better than he wld commit to. On gd days I hv zero eye bags and on bad days I can see shadows of bags. I am sure some years they will come back cos mine seems be a family thingy. (The pic on below link to Dr. Hsu's site, you can see I had bad days on both days when I took the photos. )

think you need to read my earlier posts... my nose is inherently crooked.
it is true i didnt know my primary rhino with dr. Jung did not correct the problem until dr. Hsu pointed it out over our email correspondence.
rib cartilage implant is necessary due to this reason. i think i wrote this too.
dr. Hsu made internal stitches. how exactly- i need to find time to review his email to me and see if it is appropriate to disclose our correspondence after seeking his permission. actually, i m happy to see effect cos my primary either dr. Jung also cover internal stitching for hanging alar but it did not yield such results. however, i wld prefer to improve it and dr. Hsu ask me to review only 9-12 mths later.

your nose looks great! it is very nice and natural; like you were blessed with it, instead of it being man made. that is the kind of effect that i am looking forward to, not the japanese celebrity style, which can be very harsh/hard/fake. my chinese is atrocious but he seems really detail in his write up.

dr. Hsu is indeed very patient. I really think it is becos he is genuiunely very passionate towards rhinoplasty. therefore, instead of me chasing him...he has been chasing me to take photos and make reviews!!!

talk to him in details. whether it is dr Hsu or not, you need to make sue yr doc knows what you need exactly. this is coming from my own experiences.

Sori - you too. PLEASE read back cos if you want to learn from those who went for PS, you need to be able to at least discern one forumer's experience from the other so tt you are making the best option for yrself n not rely entirely on someone's results.

Dr. Hsu only does rhinoplasty. If you go to him in Kaoshiung, I recommend KingsTown Hotel cos I dun like old hotels and this one has been refurbished 2 yrs ago n reasonably priced. Book via internet:

For dr. Jung, I stay at his simple apartment above his clinic for convenience. Some forummers dislike its simple conditions.
You can correspond with both docs - Hsu and Jung via email dr. Jung seeming likes to read his mails on Thurs which he usually gets a semi-'free' day. While, dr. Hsu reads his mails and reply them diligently almost daily. PLS try to be as detailed as possible. I called dr. Hsu before a few times to discuss dates for procedure, and make enquiries a few times before my trip.

Kalyn: frankly, maybe it a revision...i try to use 平常心 to look at the results. Nothing Zen or anything cos indeed I am finally close to the nose I want but still a little way...

Now I'm in dilemma after hearing this. I'm in desperate need to solve this baggy issue yet the fillers makes things so much complicated. Thanks for posting the link to your revised nose- it appears more balanced to me and am sure it will only look better with time. It is still early days, I would say Dr. Hsu did a lovely job to straighten your nose- this is already a cause for celebration!

The Surgery I did was insicion method by cutting slightly higher then my previous double eyelid crease, remove fats to reduce my puffy eyes and some correction on my eyelid muscles.

One thing i know, is that Dr Chuang's speciality is actually breast augmentation, but of course each person will have their own comments after surgery with the doc. For me, i did my eyelid revision with him, so far i like my eyes, very deep set looking because i told him i want to look non-chinese. Up to you to make your own judgement.

By the way for those gals who are going korea, you can consider eyelid tattoo. It's not those traditional type like what your mum or your grandma did (will turn greenish or bluish after a few years), it's actually a new technology and it will be done very close to your eyelid. Alot of korean actresses did it, that is why when they cry until "xi li hua la" in movie and drama, their eyeliner don't smudge. A popular place that did it is Sizuka, which is at MyeongDong. I have their address, but at home. Even japanese fly there to do it. Oh, and also, it won't last permanently; it will start to fade off after around 3 years.
I'm waiting to go korea on business trip in mid March, then i will definitely go and try this eyeliner tattoo. Hence at the moment, i can't comment much on it. I don't think this technology is in Singapore yet.

Hi all,
im interested in double lid surgery...will b going to Golden Sultan Clinic which is located at sultan plaza next mth.
Doc name is Victor kk lim.
Had been planning for this surgery for a long long time. But.. bit nervous.
Anyone did with him before? Pls do share ur experiences n pics if possible???

So for your this trip to Korea, you will be doing what surgery? NOse or eyelid tattoo?

I can't wait any further, do you really think that I should not go ahead at this point of time? I think I do trust Dr Jung's skills(after much reassurance and positive comments from your experiences), after all, if he didn't remove the uneven bags that were caused by fillers, I believe(very hopefully), they will dissolve after months later.
