Ive been putting this procedure on hold for so long , must have it done.
and Why is this thread going slow? Please update/join lurkers. We need more post-op,experiences,recommendations.
Hi, I have a silicone implant but I don't think Goretex would be a better choice for me. Simply because if I really don't like my nose after the surgery, I can easily have the silicone implant removed. If I had Goretex and I don't like it, that's it and I'll be stuck with it.
About the silicone implant "shifting", I don't think you have to worry if your surgery is done by a good doctor. My implant is straight as an arrow, and after 5 days, I started to sleep on one side and now, on 13th day, it's still very straight and tight. Shifting, I think, is quite uncommon.
About the silicone implant looking fake, I think that's untrue. Those who have seen my new nose say it looks really natural. Asian skin can take silicone very well, so it's unlikely the nose will look fake.

I finally decided to have a surgery at Migo Clinic in Korea but I am still scared. The date of my operation will be on Dec 28th and I will stay in a nice but affordable hotel. Anyone interested going to Seoul this fall? Does anyone have experience at Migo Clinic, Have you heard any issues about this clinic? Please let me know while I still have time. I am going to have nose and chin augmentations.
im thinkin about having a nose job however, ive been told that most of the surgeons here are not that good... any recommendations? anyone knows how they'll cost? Confused:
I was also initially thinking of doing my double eyelid surgery in korea at BK Clinic. But my parents opposed the idea and only allowed me to do in singapore, in which i have no idea which surgeon is good.
I've heard good and bad reviews here and there, so i'm a little worried.
i just did my nose with dr nara on 2 december and my nose is pretty swollen now. eye area is also swollen. sigh..
and the worst thing is that, it seems like there is nothing done to my nose and even my parents and siblings said so. it looks jus like my old nose, swollen.
sigh.. getting pretty depressed and anxious...
but i did saw my nose right aft the surgery and i find that it looks good. at least better then my old nose.
is it that aft all the bruising n swelling are gone, it will look exactly like wat i saw in the mirror right aft the surgery??
2 weeks after the surgery, with all the swell gone down, my nose looks good. i love the new nose dr nara has given me!

Price quoted for rhino in Korea is about 3-4 million won.

So I don't understand why people say it's cheap, cause it's really not?
Waiting for my surgeon to reply me with the simulated results now,
but deffo looking into travelling to korea for a nosejob.
would appreciate company.
lemme know!! <3
I think compared to a S$17000 nose job by Woffles Wu, then it's properly cheaper in Korea Maybe different procedures for e.g. autologous rhinoplasty by rib harvesting cost double or thrice the price of a nose implant job?
hahaha I don't wanna go to Woffles, I'm pretty much choosing Korea for their experience.
Wouldn't mind Taiwan though, unless I successfully scam my mother of 5 grand (:
Have you done anything to your nose?
I so super need advice!!
I'm looking at fascia lata for dorsum and ear cartilege for tip definition.
Lemme know what you think
xx
No I haven done anything yet was still considering too. Wanted to do only ear cartilage too but they were saying that unless your bridge is originally high, then dorsum/ear cartilage would be sufficient, otherwise you need to have an implant either silicon, gorotex or rib.

Its also alot cheaper for those korean americans (if you get info from purseblog) who go to Korea rather than paying 12000 USD in US. Plus the doctors aren't even very experienced with asian noses in US.

Hi all,
I'm sorry. I haven got time to post about my experiences with Dr Chuang in Taiwan at www.christinekosite.com forum. I will definately post it by tomorrow.
If any of you need information about PS, maybe you all can consider visiting www.christinekosite.com.
Another thing is that I heard that new website is going to do reviews on Korea and Singapore PS surgeons.

Hi All,
I did fillers for nose before and I can assure you that you will be disappointed with the results. Therefore I went for nose job with Dr Chuang. The results are good.
Further I have also called a few local clinics about breasts fillers. I can tell you that the prices are way too expensive compared to surgery. Roughly about 10k per 1 cup size.
Anyway, I will be posting at www.christinekosite.com forum about my findings on breasts fillers as well as nose job with Dr Chuang.

Hey missfoxy,
Im going over seoul next year in february. When were you planning to go? I would really like some company, would hate to think of what it would be like suffering from post op yourself

Hi Missfoxxy,
Before I went to Dr Chuang for Rhino, I did considered Korea. However, I have a friend who went to Korea for rhino and the results are not fantastic plus expensive too!. Why? because, they use garotex. The material is difficult to reverse. If you look at Korean's nose, the profile is not very tall like caucasian. However, we are asian so, it is therefore acceptable.
Of course, consultation is important. If your nose profile is nice; just need a little bit of tweaking of height like mine, it is cheap (S$1.3k only for a simple I-silicon insertion). If you need to do alar, like my friend; sad to say, her nose looks like michael jackson now after went to Korea. Sigh...
Please do research on doctors coz it is important. If thing goes wrong, you have to live with it for a while before you raise enough money for revisions. If you need the information on doctors, you may check out www.christinekosite.com.
If you need advice or have questions, please post it at www.christinekosite.com forum. I can understand how you feel. I was like that before i went for rhino.
Please try not do it in Thailand. Cheap is not necessary good. The results are like transvestite like another friend of mine. This is because the silicons come with standard sizes. The nose is too big for her face. The doctor there dont practice mian xiang. Hence if your face is not balance, it will affect your life significantly (ha..ha.. im a feng shui enthusiast as well)
omg does anybody know of a plastic surgeon in Taiwan who does fat transplant to boobs?
I can't seem to find one! ):
*despair*
hey i've consulted dr park from oz bout this. he mentioned that results aren't as satisfactory as silicons and salines.
dr kim from BK clinic does it ..dr chuang from taiwan does it too _________________ Check out http//na7nal.livejournal.com for Mickey Mouse + Ipod Nano In-stocks! Loads of US Spree Apparels In too
